4% of UK HNWs say they should pay more tax, new research finds

The majority of high-net-worth individuals in the UK think they pay the right amount of tax, according to the Saltus Wealth Index.

The index asked 1,000 people in the UK with investable assets of over £250,000 whether they think they pay too much tax, the right amount, or could pay more.

Almost three quarters (73 percent) believed they paid the right amount., with one in 25 (four percent), saying they should pay more.

Just 23 percent said they paid too much.
