Independent Scottish accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael has announced five new partners as part of the firm’s growth strategy.

Business advisory specialist John Mason, who is based in the firm’s Glasgow office, Richard Bathgate (restructuring), and Stephen McIlwaine (audit), located in Aberdeen, and Nicola Horsburgh (tax) and Lynne Walker (head of business advisory), based in Elgin, have all been promoted to partner status.

The firm's chief executive, Sandy Manson, said: “It is highly rewarding to be introducing our latest partner promotions."
