Promoted to senior trust manager at the start of 2021, Chris carries out the day-to-day administration of the entities which form part of Emirates NBD Trust Company (Jersey) Limited, which is a trust company managed by Fairway Fund Services Limited. The portfolio consists largely of real estate in London and his duties include liaising with relationship managers in London and Dubai, lawyers, tax advisors and property managers. He continues to build relationships in other major finance centres and works closely with a number of family advisers, to ensure a bespoke service to each individual client. Chris has an honours degree in financial services and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) holding the Diploma in International Trust Management.

Since joining the firm’s family office team, Dan has been heavily involved with the ongoing set up of a highly transactional family office structure based in Jersey. Through this work, Daniel has gained a significant level of experience, both within the technical element of these transactions. Despite a relatively short period of time with the company, he has proven his ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, whilst also providing oversight to more junior members of the team to ensure their own development and key succession planning for the future. Also named as a Channel Islands’ Top 35 Under 35 in 2020, Dean is an associate in Carey Olsen’s dispute resolution and litigation team in Jersey. Whilst practicing in England, he gained a wide variety of experience including disputes involving property, trusts, insolvency, fraud and directors' duties. His current practice includes all areas of civil litigation in Jersey with an emphasis on contentious trusts and commercial disputes. Dean is also developing his regulatory practice. Dean joined Carey Olsen in 2018 having trained and worked at several English law firms. He was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2014 and was subsequently called to the Bar in England & Wales (non-practising). Dean obtained an MA from the University of Oxford in Jurisprudence and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Distinction) from the College of Law.

Edward joined ED Capital in April 2018 and in his role as manager, Edward is in charge of a number of financial and reporting matters for the group and its clients.  Prior to joining ED Capital, Edward was at PwC’s Jersey office. As a member of the audit team there he worked across a range of financial services sectors but in particular real estate and infrastructure structures. This saw Edward regularly travelling to mainland Europe to visit clients. Edward holds a BA in Philosophy and Politics from the University of East Anglia and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Outside of work Edward is a keen sportsman and is a trainer in the local CrossFit gym. Always up for a challenge Edward has competed in a number of local sports events including the round island swim and Jersey marathon. This year Edward is taking part in the BB White Collar boxing where he will be raising money for Jersey Hospice.

Before joining Ogier in 2020, George spent over four years in London practising as a solicitor at Taylor Wessing where he specialised in advising UK and non-UK domiciled individuals on their global asset structuring and UK tax and trust planning. Gregory joined Collas Crill as a paralegal in September 2014 and started his training contract in September 2015. He qualified as a solicitor of England & Wales in September 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Gregory attended the University of Exeter where he completed a Masters Degree in Biology. He studied the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School in London. Jack has a particular interest in investments and administers structures which include real-estate funds, responsible investing and those that have investments with Sharia compliant requirements. Most recently Jack has been central to the completion of a structure to hold a new yacht. Outside of work however, Jack is known as the sportiest of the Highvern staff, willing to get stuck into anything so long as it’s outdoors and it’s competitive. In 2018, Oak Trust became part of the Oak Group as well as the group’s headquarters, with its client base consequently expanding both geographically and by assets under administration.  Transitioning from leading in a single office to working in a multi-office and multi-jurisdictional setting, Michael has continued to thrive at Oak where he is currently responsible for a team of three and is directly involved in administrating over 200 client entities. His experience spans international tax planning and transactional tax matters regarding investments in the Channel Islands as well as managing the tax traits of cross-border transactions, corporate reorganisations and tax litigation/relationships with revenue authorities.
