Altair Partners adds former eprivateclient 50 Most Influential as a client director

Consultancy firm Altair Partners has strengthened its Channel Islands business with the appointment of a former eprivateclient 50 Most Influential.

Mike Farley, who was named as a 50 Most Influential in 2018 and is also a PAM Awards judge was formerly head of Zedra’s fiduciary investment services business in Jersey.

Mr Farley has joined Altair – a corporate group specialising in the provision of independent non-executive directors and related services to the alternative investment market - as a client director.

Based in Jersey, Mr Farley started his career as a discretionary manager, with responsibility for the offshore fund selection of Barclays Wealth, before moving into the fiduciary sector and lead the investment oversight and monitoring for Barclays’ global trust division.

He is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a qualified trust & estate practitioner. Mr Farley has comprehensive experience in senior leadership as a board director, having sat on a variety of regulated boards, including investment business, trust companies business and fund services business licenced entities.
