Budget 2021 - Corporation Tax hike announced as SDLT holiday is extended

Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) relief will be extended until the end of June, UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced today in his Budget speech.

At the same time, Mr Sunak announced plans to freeze the Personal Allowance and raise Corporation Tax to 25 percent in order to help the UK pay for its recovery from the financial impact of the Covid19 pandemic.
