Proposed changes to Bermudan immigration law aimed at providing new routes to a Permanent Residency Certificate for certain long-term residents and families have received Royal Assent and should come into force in the near future, offshore law firm Applebys has advised.
The jurisdiction's government said that these changes support its priority of achieving a "simplified, fair and modern framework for immigration" in Bermuda.
