Charles Russell Speechlys has promoted five lawyers to partner, effective 1 May 2021, as well as one to legal director, one to counsel and 15 to senior associate promotions. These include a number of private wealth specialists.

Within private wealth disputes, Hugh Gunson has been made partner.

He joined the firm in 2018 from Pump Court Tax Chambers where he was a pupil barrister. Previously he was a senior associate at Freshfields, where he also qualified as a solicitor.
