Court of Appeal rules Italian tycoon must settle divorce in Italy

The UK Court of Appeal has ruled that Italian fashion tycoon, Ferruccio Ferragamo, and his estranged wife, Ilaria Giusti, should defer their divorce proceedings to the Italian courts.

Ms Giusti, who relocated to London in 2017, had petitioned to have their divorced settled in London rather than Italy, where they resided during their marriage.

However, the two appeal judges, Lord Justice Moylan and Lord Justice Baker, also said Ms Giusti’s English bid should not be thrown out.
