Crestbridge has announced that Dean Hodcroft, chief financial officer and a founding partner of Cale Street Partners and formerly head of real estate at EY in London, will join Crestbridge in April 2021 and will succeed Graeme McArthur as the group's chief executive officer with effect from 1 July 2021.
Mr Hodcroft will relocate to Jersey, from London, in April 2021 to take up the role subject to regulatory consent and will work closely with Mr McArthur and Crestbridge’s senior leadership team to enable a smooth transition prior to taking up the role as CEO in July 2021.
During the six years Mr Hodcroft spent at Cale Street Partners, the firm invested €2.6bn of capital into complex transactions in the US, UK and various European jurisdictions. Prior to joining Cale Street in 2015, Mr Hodcroft spent 26 years working for EY in London, having led its real estate tax group for the UK and acted as head of its real estate Industry practice for EMEIA, where he advised the firm's major clients including real estate funds, investors, developers, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.
Departing CEO Mr McArtur joined Crestbridge in 2010 and has overseen growth of the business over the past decade which has included the expansion of its footprint from Jersey into the key financial centres of London, Luxembourg, New York, Cayman and Bahrain.
