The EU has confirmed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Marshall Islands have been removed from its list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes, otherwise known as the tax blacklist.
Additionally, Albania, Costa Rica, Mauritius, Serbia and Switzerland were all found to be compliant with all commitments on tax cooperation by the EU Council.
This news follows media reports earlier in the week, suggesting that both the UAE and Switzerland would be removed.
