The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Switzerland will be removed from the European Union’s (EU) list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions, otherwise known as the EU tax havens blacklist, according to Reuters.
An EU document stated both jurisdictions will be removed later this week.
However, all three US territories currently on the list, American Samoa, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands, are set to remain.
The other jurisdictions on the list are: Belize, Fiji, Oman, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago and Vanuatu.
