Wealth management and professional services group Evelyn Partners has appointed Matt Hughes as a private client tax partner.

Mr Hughes will be joining the firm’s professional services team in Birmingham.

He has joined Evelyn Partners from big four accountancy firm PwC where he worked for the last 12 years - most recently as a director. Before becoming a director, he started as a tax adviser and then became a senior manager.
