FCA seeks private help to analyse crypto

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has put a tender out for a private company to provide cryptocurrency analysis, a likely sign the regulator is trying to get to grips with the developing asset class.

On 10 January 2020 the FCA became the anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing supervisor for firms carrying out cryptoasset activity in the UK.
