Former school trustee 'failed in responsibilities' and 'let community down'

A former trustee of an educational charity has been found responsible for serious mismanagement and/or misconduct of its governance, management and administration, and in the handling of transactions, including the sale of the school.

Subsequently, the trustee has been disqualified from becoming a trustee of any charities for 10 years.

Grangewood Educational Association was set up to provide Christian education, and runs the Grangewood Independent School in Newham, London.
