Giving Pledge welcomes 19 new signatories including MacKenzie Bezos

Another 19 philanthropists have joined the Giving Pledge, including MacKenzie Bezos who is set to give away at least half of her $37 billion fortune.

These new philanthropists bring the total number of Giving Pledge signatories to 204 from 23 countries.

The Giving Pledge, created by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett, is now in its ninth year.

This year philanthropists from China, Hong Kong, Norway, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States have joined, further expanding its international reach.
