Guernsey's financial sector backs proposals for additional green finance funding

Business groups and finance industry leaders are backing a proposal by States of Guernsey Policy & Resources Vice-President Deputy Lyndon Trott which seeks a grant of £300,000 for Guernsey Finance to invest specifically in support of the development of the island’s green finance initiative.

The proposal, seconded by Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez, was discussed in the States this week (Tuesday 5 November) and suggests the funding should come from the Future Guernsey Economic Fund.
