Herbert Smith Freehills' head of private wealth China snapped up to lead trust firm's Hong Kong offering

Joanna Caen has been appointed as the new managing director of PraxisIFM Nerine (Hong Kong), taking over from Melanie Ison who is making a switch to the PraxisIFM office in Guernsey.

Ms Caen, who is from New Zealand, previously worked for international law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills where she held the position of partner and head of private wealth in China.

Ms Caen was admitted as a solicitor and barrister in New Zealand and as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2016. She will be joining the firm with 12 years of experience in private banking, private clients, estate planning and trust advisory and regulatory matters and is...
