HMRC data shows drop in landlord tax disclosures

HMRC’s Let Property Campaign received its lowest number of disclosures in 2020/21 since the year the facility opened.

More than £300 million is still unaccounted for as HMRC prepares to roll out Making Tax Digital for landlords, according to a Freedom of Information request by tax advisory firm Saffery Champness.
