HMRC set to move to new North-East England headquarters

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is set to move bases in the North East to Newcastle’s Pilgrim’s Quarter. The Newcastle building is part of the Pilgrim Street development and will be the largest of HMRC’s 13 regional centres.

Part of the UK government hub network, HMRC’s regional centre will accommodate approximately 9,000 staff.
