ICAEW announces new vice-president for 2020-21

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has named Julia Penny as its new vice-president for 2020-21.

Ms Penny is an audit, accounting and anti-money laundering technical specialist. She has worked at organisations including Wilmington PLC, Wolters Kluwer and Baker Tilly.

In 2013 she joined ICAEW's council. She was a member of the ICAEW technical strategy board until June 2017, when she joined the ICAEW ethics advisory committee, which she currently chairs. Ms Penny has also been a member of the ICAEW board since June 2017.
