Investors call for green infrastructure projects to be EIS qualifying

The Chancellor should make green infrastructure projects eligible for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) in the today's Budget, Growthdeck has argued.

The private equity investment firm believes that opening up EIS to green infrastructure projects again will help towards meeting the UK’s goal of bringing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.

It could also give SMEs a boost in capital, which will help create more jobs and benefit the overall economy.
