The deputy director general of the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), John Everett, will leave the organisation at the end of September.

Mr Everett joined JFSC in May 2014 as director of funds and fiduciary supervision, and has also led the supervision and policy/financial crime policy teams, as well as being responsible for government relations. He was promoted to deputy director general in November 2015.

Prior to joining JFSC, he worked at the UK's Financial Services Authority (now Financial Conduct Authority), where he specialised in investment management issues and international representation.
