Kazakhstani politician's mansion identified as part of UWO

Last Tuesday (10/03/20) UK courts overruled a challenge against the BBC which attempted to prevent journalists from identifying a London mansion at the heart of the latest Unexplained Wealth Order (UWO).

The property, which is the residence of one of the members of Kazakhstan's political elite, Nurali Aliyev, and owned by offshore companies, has now been publically identified as a ten-bedroom house at 33 The Bishops Avenue.

The High Court will decide the fate of the mansion, along with two other properties, in a battle that began on Tuesday (10/03/20) and is still ongoing.
