Law and advisory firms lead the way for social mobility

Law firms made up 25 percent of the top 200 companies for social mobility, with UK solicitors Browne Jacobson at the very top and law firm Herbert Smith Freehills in third.

The rankings were provided by the Social Mobility Foundation (SMF), as part of its fifth annual Employer Index for 2021.

As well as Browne Jacobson and Herbert Smith Freehills, KPMG made up the top three, whilst also in the top ten was fellow big four advisory firm PwC, tax advisory firm Grant Thornton...
