KPMG in the UK has appointed Victoria (Vicki) Heard to lead its tax and legal practices. Ms Heard will formally take on the role from 1 October.
Ms Heard joined KPMG as a graduate in the firm’s Manchester office in 2001. She became a tax partner in 2014, and has been head of the firm’s financial services tax and legal practice in the UK since 2017.
During her career, Ms Heard has advised on a large variety of banking and finance transactions and has experience across all aspects of KPMG’s tax business. She works closely with KPMG teams around the world to provide international tax advice and support to her multi-national clients.
In her role as head of tax and legal services, Ms Heard will sit on the UK firm’s executive leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing the running of KPMG’s tax and legal practices.
