No fault divorce applications hit 13,000 in April

While divorce petitions fell between January and March, it appears there has been an uptick since the ‘no fault divorce’ legislation came into force.

Between January and March 2022 there were 30,150 divorce petitions, which is a six percent decrease from the same quarter in 2021.
