There are now 171 UK billionaires, down by six compared to the 177 in 2022, according to the latest Sunday Times’ Rich List.

This is the first fall in the number of billionaires since the 2007-2008 financial crisis.

In its 35th year, the research into the UK’s 350 richest individuals and families found the wealth shared amongst them climbed to £683.856 billion, £30.374 billion more than the list last year.
