OECD helps Morocco implement information exchange policy

The OECD’s global forum on tax transparency has helped Morocco implement an Exchange of Information on Request (EOIR) policy.

The global forum Secretariat is assisting Morocco to prepare for its second round of peer review, which is aimed at assessing its compliance with the international standard of EOIR.

This review, which is set to be launched in the third quarter of 2020, is based on strengthened reference terms, including the availability of and access to beneficial ownership information.

Morocco was rated largely compliant with the EOIR standard during its first round of review in 2016.
