New research has revealed that one-third of Brits will refrain from hosting Christmas celebrations this year due to embarrassment about their homes.

With Christmas only a few weeks away, friends and families are busy making plans to get together and celebrate.

However, 34 percent of people surveyed stated that they would like to host friends and family for the Christmas period but refrained from doing so because they felt their home simply wasn’t fit for the festive purpose.
