Pension reforms need to “start from scratch” and work out how the system could “serve the needs of individuals, employers and wider society,” Hargreaves Lansdown has argued.
This call for action followed reports that the government is planning a consultation on reforms to the NHS pension scheme to address the problem of senior doctors who do additional work suffering high tax charges through the Tapered Annual Allowance.
