The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) launched a Tax Withholding Estimator, which is an online tool, designed to make it easier for taxpayers to have the right amount of tax withheld during the year.

It replaces the Withholding Calculator and offers workers, retirees, self-employed individuals and other taxpayers, a user-friendly step-by-step tool for tailoring the amount of income tax they have withheld from wages and pension payments.
