Research shows public lack of understanding for pensions

Despite a significant increase in pension participation rates from the UK population, the proportion of adults who agree they ‘understand enough about pensions’ has only increased by one percent point in the last ten years (from 43 percent to 44 percent).

A study from The Pensions Regulator showed record membership of occupational defined contribution pensions, at 23.4 million people. This is up from 21.7 million last year.
