Rise in disputes over taking a child to live abroad, Boodle Hatfield research finds

Court orders granting permission to take a child to live overseas is now beginning to increase after dropping off during the pandemic, according to private wealth law firm Boodle Hatfield.

In the most recent quarter (Q1 2022), the courts gave permission for a child to be taken out of the UK in 14 instances.
