Tax advisory firm Saffery Champness has appointed Shirley McIntosh MBE as a partner in its Inverness office.

Ms McIntosh joins Saffery Champness from RSM after nearly 12 years, where she was a partner and formerly head of tax for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Prior to that, she worked for accountancy firm Stephan Hay & Associates for nearly 12 years as a tax manager and later director.
