Singapore, Paris and Hong Kong all rank as the most expensive cities

For the first time three cities have ranked as the world's most expensive city, according to the annual Economist Intelligence Unit survey, which compares prices in 133 cities globally. The trio of cities included Singapore, Paris and Hong Kong. 

This year's top ten was largely split between Asia and Europe, with Singapore representing the only city that has maintained its ranking from the previous year as Paris ranked second last year and Hong Kong ranked fourth.

Zurich followed in second place and Geneva in third, while Osaka, Seoul, Copenhagen, New York, Tel Aviv and Los Angeles followed respectively as the top ...
