Smith & Williamson appoints private client partner

Smith & Williamson has appointed Anthony Whatling as a private client tax partner.

He joins the firm from EY where he was a tax director in the financial services private client team since 2017.

Before this, Mr Whatling was a senior manager at PwC and has also worked at BDO. He began his tax career at EY as an expatriate tax consultant in 2003.

In his practice Mr Whatling advises private clients, family offices and trust companies on UK personal tax issues. His areas of specialism include: personal tax issues for non-UK domiciled individuals; wealth and business structuring for high net worth individuals a...
