SRA to establish its own indemnity scheme

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is to establish an indemnity scheme for future consumer protection for post six-year negligence.

The existing solicitors indemnity fund arrangements, operated by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund Limited (SIFL), will be replaced with the SRA’s own indemnity arrangements from September 2023.
