New Zealand and Switzerland have signed a protocol updating the double tax agreement between the two countries.
The protocol was updated to include model treaty provisions to prevent tax treaty abuse and improve dispute resolution as recommended by the OECD and G20.
The amended agreement will come into force once both countries have introduced the necessary domestic legislation.
