The Queen’s speech yesterday outlined Boris Johnson's plan for Brexit and confirmed the Tory manifesto’s commitment to ensure that no one has to sell their home to pay for social care, but there was no mention of no fault divorce.
This led some lawyers to worry that the issue, which has been tabled in previous parliamentary sessions, might have been put on hold once more.
However, the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Bill was included in the background notes, so it can be assumed it is still on the card...
