Professional services group and wealth manager Tilney Smith & Williamson has appointed Stephen Woodhouse as a partner.

Mr Woodhouse joined the firm from EY where he was an associate partner. In this role he led EY's Manchester private equity transaction tax team.

He has over 15 years of experience supporting mid-market private equity clients and their management teams on the tax implications of all aspects of corporate finance activity.
