Global law firms Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling are merging to create a global law firm named Allen Overy Shearman Sterling – A&O Shearman for short.
The merged firm will have around 3,900 lawyers and 800 partners across 49 offices.
A&O Shearman will be the only global firm with US law, English law, and local law capabilities in equal measure.
