UAE shakes up expat inheritance laws

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is to introduce changes to its laws concerning expatriates’ wills and inheritance. 

The reforms are part of a series of presidential decrees by UAE  President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan aimed at enhancing the country’s’ legislative foundations and boost it as an attractive destinations socially and economically for foreign expertise and investment.
