UK Chancellor pledges to tackle tax fraud as tax avoidance promoters are targeted

UK Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s 2023 Spring Budget has outlined plans to tackle tax fraud by doubling the maximum sentences for the “most egregious cases of tax fraud” from seven to 14 years.
