UK tax rule changes for divorcing couples announced

The UK government has published a draft Finance Bill 2022-23 with Capital Gains Tax (CGT) rules for divorcing couples set to change.

Legislation will be introduced that will mean that:

 - Separating spouses or civil partners will be given up to three years after the year they cease to live together in which to make no gain or no loss transfers.
