Wealth manager Brown Shipley has appointed Rupert Cecil as head of charity and philanthropy.

Mr Cecil will build a proposition focused on managing the assets of UK charities, endowments, religious establishments, schools, and universities.

He will also be responsible for broadening the bank’s philanthropy business in the UK, working across Quintet and Brown Shipley to meet clients’ personal philanthropy needs.
