Despite a third defeat yesterday (28/10/2019) for UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in his bid to have an early General Election, the prospect of an early election remains likely - and may occur today with support from the Liberal Democrats and SNP - and with this in mind, James Hender, partner and head of private wealth, and Lucy Brennan, partner in the private wealth team at accountancy firm Saffery Champness, have offered their analysis of both Labour and the Conservatives’ personal tax plans.
