In the last couple of years, the number of women in senior roles has been dwindling. 

In 2021, the news cycle was awash with stories about how women were more likely to drop out of the workforce during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Many articles cited childcare issues, or perhaps a re-evaluation of priorities leading to a stepping back or early retirement.
