“Excellent” performance in professional services arm sees Tilney S&W's Q1 income climb by 9.3 percent

Operating income has increased by 9.3 percent in Q1 at Tilney Smith & Williamson.

Group operating income totalled £146.9 million in the three months to 31 March 2022, compared with £134.3 million a year earlier.

The firm attributed this to increased assets under management year-on-year, as well as “excellent” performance in the professional services business.
