Labour's Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves is set to pledge to raise £5.1 billion a year through a crackdown on “tax dodgers”, according to reports.
Labour said it plans to add £555 million in funding to HMRC to increase the number of compliance officers by up to 5,000 in an effort to close the tax gap.
