All 28 EU Member States must adopt national laws to comply with the so-called DAC6 on the mandatory disclosure and exchange of cross-border tax arrangement by 31 December 2019, EY stated. As of 31 July, four states have already complied, which are Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Slovenia.
Meanwhile, 14, including the UK, have published draft legislation, seven have commenced consultations and three (Bulgaria, Croatia and Greece) have yet to take public action.
